Thank you for your replies. I like Tissot's quality for the price. I just haven't found the perfect Tissot for me. I like the PRC200 but even the one I posted is a bit of a compromise.
I would love some help spending my money!
I'm looking for a Swiss automatic watch that I can wear with casual to business professional attire. I want a round stainless or titanium case that is between 39mm and 42mm in diameter and no more than 12mm in thickness. The bezel and lugs should be unobtrusive. The crystal should be sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. It should be water resistant to at least 30 meters. I want a simple design with no to minimal complications; eg, date function only. I want it to be elegant but understated. I strongly prefer the face to have Arabic numerals with sticks and I want at least a 12 and 6. I want a brown leather band. Lastly, it must be easy to read the time at a glance.
I'm open to a used watch in excellent condition or a new one. I have a psychological "limit" of $500 because I just can't see myself spending more than $500 for an everyday watch but could be convinced to go higher for the "right" one.
I would go the Tissot myself. You can never go wrong with a Tissot.
In general, I'd definitely take Tissot over Victorinox. But to be honest I don't especially like the style of the one you posted. My answer would be "neither"! What's your budget, and are there any elements that appeal to you in particular? SF is always happy to try to spend other people's money better - let us suggest some other options?
