Tyrwhitt has over a dozen RTW DB vests available. I can speak to neither quality nor fit -- but if I needed one and didn't have the ability to visit a tailor who knew what he was doing, that's where I'd start looking.Gentlemen, where might I find a double-breasted vest? I am getting married in January and have been searching around online without much success. Any guidance is much appreciated.
I have worn my Silver POW tie to too many weddings. I also don't want to buy another silver tie in another pattern (houndstooth, glencheck). Is there an alternate SF-approved alternative, specifically for a navy suit/white shirt?
Kent Wang has an option that ticks all your boxes (unless the lapels are a touch wide for your taste).Any other suggestions?
I'm looking to purchase my first tuxedo for my wedding. I've decided on a shawl collar, classic black tuxedo and have found the search more challenging than I anticipated. My price range is around $1,000 including alterations. I'd like high quality material, half of full canvas, a thinner grosgrain lapel, single breasted one button. The front runner right now is the Boss Sky/Gala at Nordstom but in my experience with suits I've found Boss suits to be rather average and sometimes a bit too "modern". I've also looked online at the J Crew Ludlow (fused and crappy?), the BB shawl (boxy cut?) , Charles Tyrwitt (lapel looks weird), Hillfiger (cheap?). Any other suggestions?
