Has anyone received shipping confirmation for their shoes trees from the original museum calf MTO?

I didn't get the lasted trees but I paid for trees with that order (and should have another pair coming from an additional MTO) and haven't heard anything since an email over 4 weeks ago saying my size wasn't in stock.

I think it's been >6 months now which is a bit ridiculous if you ask me...

I was informed that the non-lasted shoe trees have been shipped out. Let me check them for you

-21% for VAT, but add 35euro for shipping (up to 2 pairs).

I don't think you just deduct 21% of the VAT included price though. You have to divide by 1 + the VAT for that country. So if it is 21% you are dividing the VAT included price by 1.21.

Just received the country tan calf double monks in the mail today, I wear a 9 in every pair of Alden's I own and was advised to go with an 8 UK; sized up to an 8 1/2 just to be safe. Unfortunately, they were still quite small and I think a 9 1/2 would fit perfect. So I'm planning on exchanging for the dark brown monks. However, this will be my first time shipping internationally, does anyone have any suggestions on a way to do this that won't cost $167? Wondering if anyone else has exchanged sizes with Meermin in the past and how that transaction went?

^ I know everyone's feet are different, but I wear a 10 on Alden's Barrie, and a Meermin 9.5 fits really well. I find Aldens fit like clod hoppers compared to Meermins, so perhaps you want to give them a shot before you size up. Otherwise, I'd just throw them on ebay and save the expensive shipping.just my two cents.

I wish I could give them a chance, but my foot is too wide at the toe of the shoe and they're just a tad short in length. I think eBay might be a good idea.

When at the post office recently (USPS) I asked them to price up a standard mail box to Madrid, and was told $35 or somewhere around there.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
