Have a nice break in your battle for gaining an space in this fascinating shoemaking world. Only a little question before locking the doors: do you have in your catalogue any blue navy single or double leather monk? I only see a suede Monk and a leatherOxford in this colour. Thanks!

I received the country calf boots today, which I ordered back in May. They are quite nice and I'm relieved they fit :) Took my normal size, UK7.5. Someone asked me to post some pictures, so here's a few. Just iphone photos.

If I have to say anything, it's that the colour is a bit more light brown than I expected. The colour proved a little hard to photograph, but the first and third picture are the most accurate. I thought they would be more reddish brown than they are. Maybe I will try to polish with a more red wax later on..

I actually think these will look even better once they get some wear and creases. They are the kind of boots that I think look better when they are slightly beaten up.

when ordering from their RTW line, Linea Maestro Collection, do you pay at the time of the order or when the shoes are ready to ship?

I think I remember something about paying at shipping however I can't find anything on their site.

thanks.

They'll invoice you but you don't have to pay 'til they're ready to ship

Hi e8487,

We are preparing a Navy Naturcalf new double monk on the OIfe last, that is one of the new additions which is on its way!

We'll keep you updated on that!

Thanks for your interest & kind comments Sir.

Hi all,

I could really use some sizing advice.

My feet are about 28,1 cm long and 10 cm wide. I recieved my first pair of Meermins based on the Hiro Last, UK size 9. That was clearly too small, so I returned them. Louisa now suggest I size up half a size to UK 9.5 - but I am worried I should go for 10 instead.

So any Hiro 9.5 or 10 owners - could I ask for your feet size measurements and/or thoughts?

Thanks, M

If the last width is good, it doesn't matter if the shoe is 0.5 sizes too long. I'd take a full size IF the last is of good width. Especially as you say it is "clearly too small". An increase of only 0.5 in size is not very significant.

I was suggested an 11.5. I'm a 13.5 in New Rey and a 13 in Olfe.

I am interested in Meermin shoes, but i got question on size, could anyone give me some comment? My Loding shoes is size UK7 (Eu41), but Meermin size chart shows (UK7 - Eu 40+ , UK7.5 - Eu 41) So i should order UK 7 or 7.5? I should order base on UK or Eu size? Anyone have experience on both brands, thanks.

Anyone could give me more idea, thanks.

btw, any idea for the comparsion of Loding and Meermin, in terms of quality, price?

Thanks.
