Seriously considering jumping on the new Galway-esque boots. How should I size the Hiro last vs brannock (~7c/d)? Or vs Barrie (6.5d)?
I really appreciate any advice!
if I didn't have the Locke hyde in the same color, I would be all over this. the double rubber sole is so much more useful.

going to swoop in on the galway style boot as well. but i had hoped to grab it in a colorway similar yo davidlanes mto or the dark oak egs -- will meermin switch colors for a single order?

im going to ask but it would be great to know if theres prior art on this sort of request

I am an size 9 in Allen Edmonds, so it's safe for me to order an UK 8.5 for the 101341 - DARK BROWN RAPELLO SUEDE? (Suede double monk strap)

I have a wedding coming up in exactly 31 days from today. Would it be risky for me to purchase these assuming they do not have it in stock? I need them for the wedding. Don't really know any other brand that has affordable shoes that look this good. I tried to find some at Nordstrom Rack but most if not all AEs start at $250-300 marked down.

I am a Uni student, so price is definitely important.

Thank you!

Meermin, along with almost every company recommends at full size down, not half. If you email them they'll tell you so. I've experienced the same with C&J, Carmina, and Herring brands.

Hmm, I've read that they fit very close to Allen Edmonds though? I am a true size 9 in the Sanford Shoe in D if that helps. Now I'm confused of what size I should get... also what about ordering should I risk it?

X-post. Tassel loafers are finally starting to break in, it was an unpleasant experience. :)

I'm a 7.5 in Hiro, although they are a bit too big in the instep. Lenghtwise okay.

I went with 7 in the Ron and they're boarderline too big. 7.5 would have not worked for me in this last and I'm glad that I sized down.

Hi, I just receive a pair of chelsea boots in dark brown french calf, and as I am happy with the overall quality of the shoes, I am concerned with the width of the top of the shoe, around the ankles. My first impression is that it is too big and causes the pants to get caught up.

Are my concerns right or does this look OK to you!? (Posting picture of another pair for comparison, the last pic)

Thanks for any help :)

Can anyone tell me whether the Meermin Shoe Trees are Lasted? I didn't manage to get any when I was over in Madrid and Need 3 now.

For those that got the GMTO Galway, did the boots fit any bigger than the shoe versions? Tempted by the current MTO now but Hiro is normally a bit too narrow for me

And anyone ever get the 101487 Green Rapello Suede boots? Curious how they came out. @Gdot any photos?

I don't have any shoes on Olfe but the GMTO Galway and a pair of suede monk ankle boots and they fit identically.

Gents,

Considering picking up a cheap pair of loafers. How does the Ron last compare to Olfe? Also, would you size differently for calf opposed to suede?

Thanks
