Thank you all for the replies! @jjl5000, thank you for the pictures, that was exactly what I had in mind. I bet it would look great in black and on the olfe last! Seen as it's a relatively simple design, it should be something that Meermin can make without any issues. Austerity Adelaide would indeed be a good name for it.

:fonz:

I have the navy blue calf Adelaide on the Olfe as per Meermin's online catalogue and it's a nice shoe.

So can anyone explain to me how group MTOs get organized?

What's the minimum order?

I really would like to get a navy wholecut in Ama.

Basically this:
700

With or without a medallion or something like the Grenville:
400

How can I do this??

So what are the major complaints about Meermin Classic Line shoes? As well as their Linea Maestro shoes?

Arrived yesterday, 10143 in Snuff Rapello Suede w/ belt:

1000

Pretty pleased, though the color is perhaps a little darker than I had in mind. Any tips on lightening them slightly (brushing perhaps)?

For the money these seem excellent in terms of elegant lasts and quality, and an option I will continue to take advantage of for non-staples I don't want to go to the $500 + range for. I've already followed up with them on doing a one-off MTO with the same 3-eyelet plain toe blucher design as the 101413, but with a single back seam (this has two), on the Ben last, and in Cognac calf.

Marbles: New Rey in 11.5. I do question you actually having a low instep if both Olfe and Hiro fit you perfectly. They do not fit a low instep foot. Reconsider the New Rey.

I am considering buyng a pair of their boots in tan country calf.

How would these handle the rough Norwegian winter? No matter how careful I am, they will have see their share of snow, ice, slush and salt...

Got this exact pair a couple of weeks ago, and while I left for warmer weather just before the Stavanger winter kicked in, I think they'll survive the winter without too much hassle.

Just recently got the first ever pairs from Meermin. Both MTO, the first one a copper-suede pennyloafer on the Ron-last and the other one a group-mtop for a Finnish #tyylit.fi-forum, a snuff-suede PTB with double-rubber sole.

Cheers and thanks to Pepe, both pairs are just the way they were suppose to be!

What size should i be getting if i wear a Uk8 in their oxford, Hiro last? :)
