Maiden voyage in my new Alex urs on the 312 last from Cobbler Union. Almost returned these as the sale description said brown calf but these turned out to be museum brown. Really glad I kept them!

Hi all, can anyone confirm whether an order from TLB will be subject to import tax in the UK? And if so, what quantum?

Thanks in advanced.

Will Septieme Largeur provide leather insoles that are cut to the profile of the last, like TLB Mallorca will do? Looking at a pair of Joffre's but I have a low instep. I wear a leather insole + tongue pad in my TLB Mallorca Artista's.

For anyone looking into Septieme Larguer (which i highly recommend you do), There does seem to be some variety in the make of the out sole between my pair of Rennan Double Monks & Anselme 2 Oxfords. This can be seen on their website too as shown below

I find the comfort & make to be better on the pair with a thinner waist but it could just be placebo. Regardless, they are great on the feet.

Hi there,

Just wondering asked the almost the same question in other thread. Could tell me how is TLB Goya last compared to CJ 341 or Carmina Rain?
Basically I would like to know, for the same size:
  • which one is longer
  • which one is wider

You’re welcome. The Carninas have a longer toe box. For that reason, I asked they make it wider, and I ended up needing French toe plates. The TLB‘s toe box is more aesthetically pleasing to me, but I wouldn’t part with either pair. Much comes down to the style you prefer.

Thanks again.
Ok. So Carmina's have longer toe box. That's helpful.

Hi, anyone owns the Yanko Service boot in the W934 last that give some feedback and real-world photos (worn, patina, aged etc).
Same question for Sendra 10604 Ciclon Seahorse.
I'm looking for a casual workboot under 300€ in EU and I'm down to these 2 options.
Thanks!
