Hey everyone, Andrew from 3sixteen here. Was curious to know if anyone here on Styleforum has a worn-in example of one of our Schott collaborations we've done over the years. I feel like our Horween black-brown horsehide has popped up on this thread before but can't seem to find it. If you have one that's aged nicely, I'd love to see it! Thanks in advance.

Thoughts on Vanson? Particularly the C2RN? I've long been looking for a sort of minimalist double rider without epaulets and belt loops, but with chrome hardware. The Schott 503 is pretty close but I don't like the coloration on the hardware, nor the fact that it doesn't have a snap on the collar. This Vanson is about as close as I've seen to checking my boxes without being a 2000 dollar Japanese piece, so it's got me pretty intrigued.

Edit: honestly, even though it's more expensive I'd maybe get the Butterscotch LBC version just so I don't have to wait for the special order to actually get made, although I suppose that depends on exactly what Vanson's wait times are, if anyone has any insight there

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered a naked version...although I am a little nervous. Based on the measurements listed I thought a M might work (as the owner wears in the pics), he advised that I order a L based on my size/measurements. I worry that it may be too big especially in the sleeves due to its design for the jacket to fit armor inserts. I will get it altered if so. I like bombers and own a few (MA-1, track tops, etc.).

Mine (roughout) looks great. A bit more matted on thw shoulders) but just so good. I am legit awful at cellphone pics, but will post one either tomorrow or Sunday, since I'm in lounge clothes already. One of my favorite.

Thanks so much for sharing! This one broke in really nicely - love seeing it paired with the shadow selvedge and the maroon/cream crosscut too.

This has come along really nicely too. There’s a slight green cast to the roughout that seems to emerge when it ages. This one was one of my favorites for sure.

I like Vanson’s jackets but most product pics are terrible. The Butterscotch version is really nice. The weakest point is that I find them too long, but my preference for big pants and tiny jackets are not universal.

If someone wants a vintage Schott 613, this is a really good example, at a decent price. The belt & loop has been cut off but I think it gives it some flair.

Looks like steerhide to me but it's not something on can tell with certainty by looking at pictures.

Based on the measurements chart vs the tagged size, I think there is a chance the seller has measured it wrong - by measuring only the front *2. This isn't an accurate way of measuring many leather jackets which are built with a wider back than front. @JibranK could probably confirm or deny this. I assume that it's going to fit best on someone between 5'8'' and 6'1'' with a medium build and a more or less 40 inch chest.
