Goat is one of the strongest and most durable leathers to work with.
I hate lambskin
My favorite ( non exotics) are Hordse, Goat, Cow/ Bison in that order.
Id love tp work with Kangaroo, buy its a little too hard to access here in the United States on a consistent basis

She's not sure yet. I think a cafe racer style is probably where she'll land.

What's so bad about lambskin?

Don’t forget the marketing shot. This jacket is definitely worth the price of a car.

I find lambskin usually thin, flimsy and not very durable (there may be exceptions). I would almost say rather fabric than leather. Probably one reason why so many fashion "leather" jackets are made from it.
However, I must confess that I know lamb skin jackets only from the store. I myself have only one vest, which I never wear because I do not like the leather.

👆Needs to size up on them jeans 🍑 😬

I don't know Gen personnaly but he works at S&S and I did get to discuss jeans with him at one point through customer support email. Those are Indigofera Kirks, in the gunpowder denim - I was buying the Clints in the same fabric. You can see by the raw hem that they shrunk more than expected. Also that guy has a super thin waist in proportion to his legs. So I often see pants burrying themselves deep between his cheeks on product shots and I feel sorry for him.
