Some things I like about yer country.
- flagpoles and flags on every third or fourth lawn - it's so cute. We use our flagpoles to hang laundry.
- shopping outlets. A foreign concept to most Canadians.
- very diverse and beautiful natural environment. Ours is 50% tundra.
- cheap meat. I recently saw $1.19/lb for turkey breasts. Are you kidding?
- cheap beer. Does not exist here.
- Yuengling Black and Tan. Genius in a bottle.
- less mosquitoes. Hate these things.
- warmer weather.

Happy Independence Day! All of the NPR news reporters did a communal reading of the Declaration of Independence this morning. I awoke to it, and it was very moving.
