British Tan Caps

Looks like some olive/cooking oil found its way on the cap. Maybe tomorrow they’ll get some cleanup loving.

What did you use to strip off the color? I have had to strip off the "varnish" or whatever it is on a pair of color 8 Alden's, used IsoAlcohol, can't get a shine on them now, but it's ok as they are going to be a sun fade project in summer.
I think it can be done, but takes a lot more friction/work. What polish are you using?
Since I got my maduro travellers they are all I want to wear. My first shell shoes and now all I want is more shell shoes.

If I could get a honey glaze traveller, and tassel loafers and longwings in maduro and honey glaze my collection would be... complete? Is that a thing that happens?
It's complete when your bank account is completely empty... ;)

Having a variety is part of the fun. Maduro Travelers look pretty sublime, and a Honey Glaze Traveler would be a great companion.

I'd suggest a pair of Dune longwings. A different vibe from shell for sure, but a really fun shoe. I mainly wear mine with denim:

Hello @GrantStone, does the limited release items ever come back in stock?

I'm interested in the Tan suede Tassel loafers.

We do rotate these but there are no plans to re-make the tan suede tassel right now. The limited releases have been a good way for us to try some fringe items while offering widths without stocking them.

I wanted to get in on the Ostrich boot but it was just too expensive for me. For me, the $300-$350 price point is a sweet spot for a "very unusual / I'm not sure when -- if ever -- I am ever going to wear this" boot. The Storm Kudu is one of those boots, and I LOVE it, but if it'd been $470 rather than $370 I wouldn't have purchased it. I was going to buy the ostrich boot just to support GS and reward them for making fun, bold, unique models, but the $464 price was just too much for me. If it was a boot that I knew I was going to wear all the time I'd gladly pay the $464 (or more) but the ostrich is so unique that I just didn't want to spend so much.
