These nutmeg suede dovers are sublime. I recently had the chance to inspect a good number of suede leathers from EG. And for me personally, Nutmeg absorbed/deflected light in the most interesting way out of the other suedes.

Been thinking about doing an MTO just like this. May I ask, which retailer did this? Or was it an MTO?

Interesting Viola Milano recommend going 1/2 a size up on last 888 - I thought it was the other way round, UK to UK size.

Perhaps they mean from your regular U.K. size? I recently took a chance on a pair of ectons on the 888 last and do not like the fit. Very narrow compared to my 202 and 606 shoes. I'll be reselling them.
