People who own both Country Calf and Utah EG leathers, which do you prefer? I only have a model in CC, which I adore for its heartiness, but I have no experience with the Utah. In particular, I am thinking of getting a pair of Dovers in one or the other. Thoughts?

I know it's like blasphemous but I'm not a fan of the dovers - split toe never appealed to me. They've grown on me but they're not the shoe I would buy if I was doing a mto. I'd probably do the g&g burnham before that or some sort Galway.

With the goal of cutting down, I have moved all my E.G. It was fun while it lasted but the resin last change and unfamiliarity with the newer lasts made it easier to move on.

Still love the look of the lasts and designs though!

Cutting down is what you do with cigs or booze, not EG, for Christ sake.

False. Cutting down is what you do to salads; not cigars, booze or EGs.
