She’s always stealing the show.
Has she ever scratched one of your shoes??? Lumbering around and that extra claw on the back paw just catches the toe cap of your favorite boot? When My mom's great Pyrenees was a 4-foot long puppy he was very energetic, friendly, and clumsy. Bad recipe for fancy shoes.

Oh, and the Russian calf does look nice. But I'm gonna call it the Ukrain calf.

Good call
She’s 7yrs old so the zoomies are all run out of her by now. I must admit when I come home from work she’s very excited, and at those moments, protecting my shoes is exactly what I’m thinking. I know, us shoe guys are the worst right. Other than my arrival home from work, she is a very gentle giant.

Great boots!
How does the Llubi last compare to HOK?
Which would you say is wider in the toe box?
For my particular feet, there is nothing better fitting than the HOK last. This is of course only for my feet, YMMV. I have the beginnings of a bunion at the ball of my foot, that fortunately with some intervention by my podiatrist, I’ve been able to arrest. So, the HOK is a dream for that portion of my foot, and I find the shape of the last desirable. The Llubi last is also great for my foot there, but to a slightly less extent.

How would you compare the two lasts? Width, volume, and instep height?

I took the plunge on this weekend's MTO event with another pair of 80450 balmoral boots but this time in black cordovan. Weird how they describe this event as only applying to new models added to the tool since I seem to recall the 80450 was there last time but maybe my memory is just wrong.

I’ve already answered the question about width. My feet are exceptionally flat, so I’ve never had a good sense of instep. I would say the HOK has more volume.
