I know a couple of you have already seen these, but I wanted to share them with the boot guys!

Saint Crispin's Mod403 in Russian Calf (RUS075), leather sole with taps, copper exposed eyelets and hooks.

As a boot guy, I can certainly appreciate the beauty and sheer goodness of these boots. And you're taking some pretty good pics, tif!

Hi gents:

I'm in the market for some boots. I am looking for some boots that would go with jeans and maybe chords (maybe even khakis). I just bought and returned a pair of vibergs. Excellent craftmanship but just too bulky for my tastes. I like the look in general but just not quite as bulky. Maybe chukkas are more up my alley? Dunno but I would love a pair of boots that are substantial enough like vibergs but without the bulk. Any recommendations in the $300-600 range? The Indy Aldens are nice but I'm going for the viberg look.

If I were you and especially since you liked Vibergs but not the bulk, I would look at Trumans.

Alden makes a ton of different style boots, from quite dressy to very casual. Why not peruse some Barrie-lasted Aldens?
