Note that the shipment originated in Queensland, and was originally sent to my nominated address in Melbourne. However, it arrived three days too late, so on Monday 7th, I requested a redirection to a Post Office agency near where I work in Sydney.

That's where the real fun starts - since that request was lodged, it's been up to Sydney and back, twice. As of today, it's back in NSW for the third time - but goodness knows whether they will actually forward it to my nominated PO, or send it back to Victoria again. I suspect the latter.

If it's any consolation (I doubt it), a set of bike wheels I ordered last week were dispatched from the UK on Thursday and arrived this morning. What a wonderful world we live in.

Speaking of bags, im off to europe next year and need a soft bag for a week long stint in Egypt. Ill be leaving the rest of my gear in Greece. I want something i can just roll up and put in my other luggage when im not using it

CR big enough? Or should i be looking st something else?

I did a week in Tokyo on a CR bag and that was alright. Also had another bag inside the CR bag which I filled up after all the shopping was done. You be the judge.

Filson gets my vote. I have a the classic canvas briefcase (about 5 years old) and 2 large duffles which we are using to travel to Scotland (bought my wife one after she kept stealing mine). All three bags are robust, well designed, look great (and better with age) and are always complimented.

The other thing to keep in mind with filson bags is that they're heavy.

If you're going to using it for flights often you may be better off with a lighter option (I.e. Cr)

Now that you mention it, perhaps not a bad idea carrying those super light weight foldable nylon luggages that are advertised as waterproof and rip proof. There has got to be a few out there that do not offend anyone's sartorial senses.

I once made three pocket squares; hand-rolled and hand-sewn. I stupidly chose voile as the fabric for one of them. It was an absolute ***** to hand-sew, but I do quite like the result. I sent one to @amerikajinda, and he seemed to like my handiwork.
