Have wool Argyle socks gone out of fashion? Tried to find some at the DJ's sale but no joy. I think I'm headed for extension.

Argyle is for old people apparently, which is probably thw reason why they are harder to find

Let me guess the first line form to How to Win Friends and Alienate People. Howard Yount's were/are made by Marcoliani but there not of the same quality.

It wasn't just the lack of Argyles it was the overall all of Woollen socks aside from a few pairs of Holeproff Hero's everything else was cotton or organic cotton with god only knows what else thrown in.

Canberra. Cold as f#ck and they don't even sell wool socks at DJs.

DJs down here had a shed load of wool socks on sale. Pantha, Marco, Humpey Law.

Somehow wearing socks by Vanishing Elephant doesn't do it for me. And a lot of the Happy Socks Paul Smith el all looks like someone had too much E at some stage of their life.

Speaking of Flannel trousers are you getting any in stock HC?

The Angels Doc Neeson has gone West. In their day The Angels were a great live act and his onstage persona was completely over the top.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
