Was checking out lambs wool jumpers today saw a orange one crew neck, I know the colour would suit my disposition and complexion and winter wardrobe. I just wonder about mileage, any thoughts? If not this then it would be a navy blue crew neck.

any woollen product will last you a long time, given after every wear, you leave it on a flat surface so the wool fibres can stretch back. when it comes to washing it, gently handwash it using some soft detergent (i think some people use baby shampoo), dry it on a flat surface (i.e. towel) under shade whilst smoothing the sweater back to its original shape. never tumble dry.

Think he might have been referring to the versatility of the jumper, moreso than the longevity.

my bad, i thought when he said mileage, i thought it was longevity!

orange i wouldn't get; i think it's a colour you'd wear based on mood. navy, camel/green or grey (in that order) are the ones i'd reach for mostly.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
