I have to say I'm loving the winter: the fog is gorgeous, the icy mornings with the sun out it just glitters. Love riding/driving to work and seeing the sun rise hit the hills near Kambah: perfect.

Everyone at work says it's a mild winter, though!

Just came back tonight to a balmy Sydney after a two day trip to Melbourne that began as a work thing with a breakfast view of:
20170804_081946.jpg

and finished with an order of:
20170802_175031.jpg

with Calder Sartoria. Can't wait for the finished product - a two piece Spalla Camicia special in Chocolate (with grey flecks - the pic does not do the fabric justice)

I blame you @sebastian mcfox and @Gerry Nelson for such fine examples of workmanship which made me do it in the first place!

BTW Melbourne - WTF with the freezing sub-zero temps? Lucky I brought the overcoat!
Till next time and hopefully my fitting.....much love B.

hi guys

i am suspecting that my zenith is failing on me, i.e. it doesn't seem to b winding properly while wearing on wrist. Its also no longer under warranty.

it looks like there's no longer a LVMH physical service center in melbourne, it has to be done via post (which i am skeptical of). Alternatively, they did point me to Monards.

Apart from the two options, any other suggestions?

Try Michael Presser, you'll have a 6-8 week wait. He is very good. Failing Michael, I do know another chap but he currently has a 6 month backlog and is not taking new clients ATM.

I did take their advice on sizing up (from small to medium) and the fit is excellent but then I'm 178cm and 65kg so I don't know how applicable my experience is. You can email them.

I'm 179, 70KG, and I used to wear small polos from KW.

Unless the pattern has changed from 2013, then they're not cut overly slim, but they do fit well. I hazard a guess that they're only considered slim because polos these days sold everywhere are baggy with terrible collars, and oversized IT workers wearing ill fitting stretched polos with a mountain dew stain are the first thing that comes to mind when mentioned.
