Has anyone heard anything from Steve/Leffot on the pre-order we did for the Ravello cap toe boots?
Last I spoke to him was mid-Dec and he hadn't even gotten the acknowledgement back yet from Alden.

Curious of the timing also. Is there a designated contact person for this order with Leffot?

I know that you organized the MTO Ravello Captoe boot order with Leffot so I hope you don't mind if I direct this question to you. On Leffot's webshop we are greeted with the following message for all Alden products:

[COLOR=FF00AA]SORRY, THIS ITEM CAN NOT BE SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY.[/COLOR]

For example go here.

Does this mean that all international subscribers to this MTO are screwed?

This restriction is pretty recent as it wasn't there the last time I checked out their webshop a couple weeks back.

Well, when I preordered the Ravello captoe boot and the Cigar SWB, I didn't see anywhere on the website saying that they cannot ship outside of the U.S. (FWIW, I live in Hong Kong). Hmm, now this got me worried.

I just wanted to confirm something with you. Someone on StyleForum alerted me to a message on your website that states Alden orders cannot be shipped internationally. Is that the case with this special order as well?

Day Tripper Pre-Order: This may turn into an 18 month event. Epaulet’s Ravello wing tip boot order was put through in Jan 2011 and they have been told it’ll be another 4-6 months due to scarcity of Ravello shell!!

I haven't been involved in the Epaulet MTO project. I think there's a separate thread for that.
