Hey guys, I'm trying to get 3 commits so Ealdwine can run a GMTO for some Tanker boots. To the best of my knowledge, there have been quite a few snuff suede tanker boots on commando soles but none on the Barrie last with double leather soles and a flat welt (or antique reverse welt). Here are the details:

  • Tanker boot
  • Snuff suede
  • Barrie last
  • Double leather soles
  • Antique edge, 360 flat welt (or antique reverse welt)
  • Matched agatine eyelets (no speed hooks)
  • Indy side stitch

If you are interested please comment and note your preference on welt (flat vs reverse). Committing means you need to be willing to place a $200 deposit once Jim at Ealdwine starts the process. Total cost should be approximately $650.

I'm okay with either welt option, so whichever choice gets to 3 commitments (4 if you count me) first will win and be the order Ealdwine places.

Let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

I'm interested in any chamois non-indy boots people can think up. Prefer 360 reverse-welt and commando sole.

Well, this post is 9 months old - did this ever end up taking off?
If not, I’d be interested, as this seems like an awesome makeup and I’ve been looking for a similar shoe; my preferences (although by no means dealbreaker:

- reverse welt
- speed hooks ;)
- Commando or Waterloc soles

Happy New Year!

check out Brick & Mortar - https://www.brickmortarseattle.com/

they have several right now

Thanks for the lead! I highly recommend B+M, and Yenni has always been great with my previous purchases through them!

Unfortunately, they don’t have my size… and if we’re being completely honest, I don’t really care for the tanker on the Trubalance last…

I figure with a GMTO, we can pull from all the best features of the different stockists’ makeups…?

I would be very interested in a GMTO for the LHS loafer, unlined, in black, like the one BB used to sell. I have the burgundy; missed the black one.
