can’t recall seeing this weather warning before...

That is an interesting one. We have a place on Lake Huron about an hour north of Detroit and while the wind off the lake isn’t nearly as bad as in Chicago or northern Indiana or the west side of Michigan, we often get alerts about the ice piling up. The house sits a good 50’ + off the lake (and probably 6’ above the lake) but a couple of winters ago I had to go up there with an axe and a sledge hammer and bust up the glacier that had made its way up the beach, over the seawall, and was headed for the glass sunroom.

No NMWA gear in this photo but here’s our daughter pretending she was headed out into the arctic tundra when we went up a couple weekends ago:

It’s a nice place to spend the days in the summer but my god is it desolate in the winter!

I just heard back from Valstar about re-making the Clint (as an exclusive for NoMan in FW19, as it is not in the line-up).

Their minimum quantity to push it through production is a bit high, so I'd really love to hear from all of you guys who want one if you are planning on ordering one, and which size (that part is because they have a handful of pieces in stock right now, and if we can't get to the minimum order to produce it, then I can try to get these stock pieces for those).

Please reply to this if you are interested in ordering a Clint - and include your size - thanks!

48 for me

I remember walking to class at -15 ~ -10 (Fahrenheit!!!) for like a week straight back in Chicago like 5 years ago... I told myself I’m only applying to jobs in SoCal after that :sarcasm:

@Michigan Planner thats quite a story. We get some impressive ice formations along the lake front here too. Frozen tundra exactly.

That house certainly does look like the place to be in the warmer weather though!
