That's what I thought too, until this discussion with the Valstar folks in Italy earlier this month. It always felt more substantial than the Valstarino suede but I thought it was because of the cord lining. It's actually cow suede, which they pick to have a more casual/rugged finish than goat suedethought the clint is goatsuede this season not cow?
