I was at that retailer about a week ago and was surprised to see Camoshita (had to pick up a shirt). According to them Camoshita is still being produced for United Arrows but not wholesale. Apparently, they were able to get a few pieces from the current season.

Yes, they told me Camoshita is still being produced but mainly for the Japanese market.

Which is funny because when I was in Tokyo not long ago and talking to a guy in United Arrows he told me that they don't carry much Camoshita because it's primarily made for the overseas market.

Both can true. The UA shops have very little Camoshita merchandise. Whenever I've been, ice only seen a handful of shirts and ties. And I also understood that they would continue to produce some styles for the UA stores but not a real, full collection. My understanding is that Kamoshita-san's designer work is now focused on his role as creative director of Paul Stuart Japan.

That's interesting - did he leave United Arrows? I thought it was notable that last Fall's stuff dropped "United Arrows" from the label, but didn't know to make of it.

I think he's still involved at UA (he's a co-founder) but he's been designing full collections for PS Jp
