Why not get extra collars and cuffs from the same fabric? You can replace them every 3 years or so, when fraying becomes apparent. I believe this is standard procedure for most custom shirtmakers- gyalos

I magnified the pic, and I see what you mean about the shirt fabric. However, it seems to be a royal oxford (as opposed to "normal", more casual oxford fabric), which is still it less than optimal for this kind of getup.- gyalos

Shirt and tie are businessy, thus require a suit. Square looks -on my monitor -too red to work with anything really. Jacket, pants and shoes are nice though.- gyalos

I always thought that most italian businessmen (most italian men probably) are trying to imitate the Avocatto. This is especially true for those who came of age in the 60s or 70s. Question re 3roll2 suits or 3 roll 2 1/2 suits. Do they actually have 3 buttons or just 3 buttonholes, and no upper button, which seems more logical to me, since the button is not visible.- gyalos

Sorry if this is inappropriate for this thread, but I'm contemplating on buying this submariner (serial A 1999) and two things strike me as peculiar a. the crown guards seem a bit farther from the crown than expected (at least from what I've seen in more recent numbers), and b. the "swiss made"...- gyalos
