    Shoe Resole NY/NJ Area

Looking to have a couple pairs of C&J's resoled. Been a while since I've looked into this and the place I used to use may not be in business anymore from what I can tell. Curious as to who is the recommended go-to. Thank you

Thank you! That’s a whole interior project, so myself and the fellow I partner up with for this work have been able to do a lot of work while the project is rough framed.

That one from Atlas looks really sturdy. I’ve built a couple brackets in preparation for sturdy floating shelves. The wall mounted brackets are normally pretty flimsy, so I made some that mount on the sides of the stud. I can lift myself up by these without them flexing. Planing to Bore...

Its ok but a bit top heavy due to the battery. In hindsight I think I would just use a standard trim router motor. The microfence stuff is great, really makes using a trim router nice.

Thanks, gents! The technique for that one was to use a Bridgeport Mill and a rotary table. Initially I used a rounded cutter but it didn’t provide enough purchase on the bottom side, so I followed up with a slot cutter with a bearing follower.

Plycon is very good. I have used them for shipping and they are professional top to bottom. I’ve had them ship fully assembled beds across the country. My good friend Chris used them similarly buy for extremely heavy handmade cabinets. I have had an interior designer recently use a specialized...

WFC cutting their dividend, can’t say that it is unexpected since the Stress year weights in on their distributions. This is a **** year to be a dividend investor, lol.

The Eames lounge is great. One example I saw which I really thought was fantastic was in dark blue all grain and palisander.

Given the same set of choices I went with Kaiser Idell. The current production Kaiser’s are excellent.
