Yep, ash. My wife wanted a light color and Brian suggested white oak, ash, or... a third option, I think, with ash being the lightest. I think we actually left that final decision with him, and it looks incredible imo.

Thanks, gents! The technique for that one was to use a Bridgeport Mill and a rotary table.
Initially I used a rounded cutter but it didn’t provide enough purchase on the bottom side, so I followed up with a slot cutter with a bearing follower.

Can anyone recommend me some good bouquet vases? There are some nice ones off DWR but darn them prices. Haven`t seen one in DWR outlet for some time.

maybe a small echasse vase?

Not sure if that’s your style but I like the troll series at TRNK and they’re not that expensive

I purchased two of these from Menu a while ago. Like them a lot and get ton of conpliments. I use dried plants in them but you could do you. just make sure to check the opening.
