Brax - those double monks are superb! Can't wait for mine!

ALso, for anyone interested I decided to offer my Bordeaux calf Austerity Brogues on B&S in my signature below.

For your convinience.

Note that I have since darken the stitching with dark brown cream. Much better. To be honest.

Saskia Wittmer makes a wonderful version of this using tan suede and lighter coloured soles to give it more of a desert boot look.

No offense, but ew... can't stand the bleached white stitching...
Are the threads waxed? I find thickly waxed threads so much more difficult to take in colors.

Beautiful. I don't suppose you have anything in antique cognac and could provide a side by side comparison? Anyone else?

TC - here are some Chukkas of mine in Antigue Cognac. I'd say the AC is more chocolatey while the 6319 is a bit more a traditional Cognac. Both are excellent.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
