Are you a fan? If so, which brand of store bought yogurt do you prefer? My grandmother always made her yogurt, at home. Luscious and textural. Especially with honey and nuts, for good measure. Have you ever tried making yogurt? How did it turn out?

Big fan of yogurt, I eat it everyday. I really like Dannon Activia brand. It has that "bifidus regularis" culture that is supposed to be good for digestion.

I've always wanted to make my own yogurt, but have never gotten around to it. I think I'll give it a shot if someone posts a good recipe.

I hope you have good luck! There's a Greek cookie, called a kourambiathe. It's a butter cookie, topped with powdered sugar. Outstanding, with yogurt. My grandmother always added some whiskey to her kourambiathes. Baking season is comin' up. I'll have some recipes to post.

Best yogurt (available in US)? Fage Total (strained), made in Greece. Hands down...

That's it. Unfortunately it is usually available only in better grocery stores. Do yourself a favour and try their whole milk version first. After that you can opt for reduced fat varieties, if you dare... ; )

We've been eating "The Greek Gods" and Wallaby recently. The best thing is to get a good plain greek-style yogurt and add your own fruits, honey, nuts, etc.

Love it! It's part of my daily diet, plain yoghurt with oat flakes, berries, honey and nuts.
