White button shirt under a polo?

Well since its summer time i love wearing polos. However, my question is this. During the fall/winter i wear my Gap white casual shirt under my V neck sweater which makes it look pretty well.

Does it look right doing it under a polo? I always do it everytime i wear a polo unless its real hot outside. Wearing a white button down under a polo to make it look good. Or does it look terrible? I never seen any people do this except me and now i think it looks horrible.

multiple collars really bother me. reminds me of pretty much any lacoste store, where the mannequins have 3 polos on. Usually popped. Bleh.

You could do it the other way around: an OCBD on top of a polo shirt.

Well, it doesn't always work, but certainly an OCBD over a polo is far preferable to the opposite. I did that in Italy; it was cold.

You mean "look good."

"Look well" means to look healthy, as in not stricken with disease.

well odoreater, imagine yourself wearing a white dress shirt and instead of wearing a banana republic v neck sweater over it, you wear a lacoste polo over it.

Seriously the other guys who keep on bashing needs to settle down. I appreciate it if you just say that look will not work or it doesn't look good. You don't need to make other more statements.

And Joe Cairo, the only person here that needs to grow up is you and the only ppl who i find saying the troll is probably is 13 usually is some wise guy 16 year old on the computer all day b/c i use to say the same thing to other ppl when i was 16.

I came to this forum to ask legitimate questions. If i wanted little clowns to give me funny responses, i might as well go the circus. To the other posters whos been geninue answering my questions thanks but to those couple of other posters who keep bashing, grow up already.
