Mushroom zombies and we are arguing that jacket isnt realistic.
Hey man--they put an incredible amount of detail into the idea of "civilization stopped in 2003"

Its not my fault I'm a regular poster on a fashion forum and happen to notice the telltale detailing of an Arc'teryx jacket (even though they either stripped the logos or ordered it through a logoless corporate purchase program). Crispy new goretex 20 years after the plants shut down?

2003 technical outerwear looked more like this:
december-2002.jpg

The idea of a subtle monocolor (especially a deep purple like that) goretex jacket designed for urban wear didn't really exist back then. Sure, Arc'teryx was early on the monotone train, but gear from back then would have been loaded with pockets and zippers.

High-Fashion stuff like Veilance and the more general "Urban" lines didn't exist back then.

(and this is mostly in jest, I don't really care--its not an obvious anachronism to 95% of viewers and the jacket itself is pretty dope…I just happen to have purchased the next-step-warmer sister jacket for my wife and have a men’s jacket in the same color)

Watched the new Chris Rock special on Netflix. It’s so bad.

I started this on Sat night. I just checked. Got 9 minutes in and stopped.

I will revisit one day....but that first 9 didn't inspire me!

Just like me trying to watch Blonde on Netflix. I wasn't inspired at all in the first 10 minutes and just turned that crap off.

I also never finished that. Started and gave up soon after.

Snowfall. The rise of crack cocaine seen through the eyes of an earnest hood rat and bummed-out CIA agent in 1983.

It’s really awesome. Not sure why I didn’t hear about it earlier…

It’s on Hulu now.

Because you weren’t adhering to my infallible suggestions boyyyyeeeeeee.

Huge fan. Be warned. The penultimate season is utterly abysmal. New season starts far more promising. I’m letting it cool to be able to watch it through fully, but all in all, some of the better stuff FX has put out in some time.

On the flip side, You (Netflix) sucks. Attention to detail (lack thereof) is so careless.
And the “no no no no no yes” sexual progression is such a snoozer. Watching James Deen scenes are at least forthright about the inevitable outcome. Half surprised the dead girl (one of ‘em) didn’t rise from the grace to give good ol Joe a little hanky panky.

FX has this problem. The first few seasons are great before degrading, but typically the last season is good.

Honestly, at least with Snowfall, I've at worst enjoyed every season to some extent, save the last. For the most part an awesome show, but, ya, that previous was a brutal watch.

I’ve noticed that American shows continue too long and the later seasons sometimes taint the entire series. The BBC typically ends shows after a few seasons and they don’t have those ****** seasons.
