Im not as familiar with western wear styling, but I think the jeans would look a bit better shorter and might last longer if they don’t drag in the back. Besides it is a shame to cover up those boots.

Hello and thanks for your thoughts! I’m pretty old school and like most (not all) of my jeans full Western boot cut.

Glad you like my cowboy boots! May sound odd but in regards to dress footwear they’re all I’ve ever worn.

Have a great day.

I like sweater + suit/ blazer for a more casual setting, but always think turtle neck is better, unfortunately, my neck is quite sensitive and the best I can do is the half neck sweater like last post or the crew neck ones.
I cannot wear a turtleneck either. I have a similar colored blazer but a little more on the golden side and without a pattern. It is cashmere and wool. I got it from a friend's family. Probably my most elegant blazer for winter. I would pair it with navy wool trousers if I went somewhere really nice with a lovely lady. I would feel that I could somehow level up with a suit for a real nice dinner or a red carpet appearance with a lovely movie star lady. I don't own a suit right now, however. I can dream about it.

Howdy again all and I hope everyone is well. One of our sons and his wife gifted me a great fleece jacket last month for Christmas. It finally got cold enough here for me to wear it today and I wanted to share as darn I really like it! Ariat jeans and Cuadra cowboy boots in full quill ostrich. Everyone have a great day.

Nice boots but I would tuck in those trousers to see the boots.
