This type of collar is turning out to be semi-impossible to find!

I do not understand why this type of collar is almost impossible to find on either RTW or custom shirt makers shirts. I don't get what's so special about the shirt in these pictures that it is possible for this individual to have, yet nobody here on one of the most widely regarded clothing websites seems to know how to replicate it. I've seen this question asked many times and the only answer that is provided is using collar stays, wurkin stiffs, or a button down collar. Please, do not suggest I try either of those because I've seen this type of collar be made without those additional accessories needed - it literally gets mentioned in every thread. I don't mean to sound rude about it, but it's akin to me saying I'm looking for a well-fitting suit and I really want it to be canvas, but the suggestions I receive are just "you do not need full canvas, half-canvas looks the same." I understand that this is achievable through the use of these gimmicks, but do not wish to use it as I know it is possible to achieve without it. Here is the collar in question:





Please note that I am trying to get either a custom made shirt (preferred) or a RTW shirt tailored. The priority is getting the collar to resemble this without the use of additional items. I am willing to go to any tailor as well, I just haven't found one who can do this. People routinely tell me when I ask for this whether it's on these forums or somewhere else that all you need is a taller collar band, stiff interlining in the band, with a soft leaf. Is that all it is? I am worried that this might not be the answer I'm looking for - I tried out Kamakura shirts recently and those featured a tall collar, however the collar was rather soft and it ended up either falling down or fanning outwards throughout the day. Is this possible??!!

Can't be that hard to find a shirt with a tall two button collar.

Maybe try Proper Cloth? They have a gallery of collar styles here.

Sorry its just so frustrating to be asking for something and literally every forum post I see about it has replies basically stating alternatives, which I would think this forum especially would understand the importance of details and modifications and personal preference above all else.

Go to Ascot Chang for your shirts, collars can't be that special.

Anyway how hard have you looked.

Dude, you live in the NYC area. Go to one of the many custom or MTM shirtmakers available to you and just ask them to make you what you want. Problem solved.

these guys still make that very high collar.

they were originally working with a shirtmaker on he east coast that makes a good shirt.
they supposedly shifted production to the west coast.

the collar on that shirt looked fine.
the rest of the shirt was awful!

Perfect but its not MTM and if it doesn't fit its gonna be useless

the shirt needs a very pliable lining or fusing.
you also have to press very carefully, that the collar is not pressed down

Why are you bumping? You've got several answers. I told you exactly how. Get a tall collar. Should be 2 button in a wider spread. It will sit perfectly. You'll be Scott Disick's bro and you'll be able to spend all you time grecco Roman wrestling instead of looking for a shirt that allows you to reach a new level of douche.
