saw a post on some guy's fb page- something like "tonight she's out partying with her friends. no one's taking care of our child... poor poor baby..." and he got a few replies, "so why don't you take care of your kid?"

++++

saw this andy rooney on women over 40 post around yesterday, mostly from female relatives and friends over 40...
then these ladies all go giving high fives to each other in comments. so I posted the snopes page saying andy rooney didn't say that ****:
and I realize just how sad these ladies giving each other a pat on their back passing around this "article"... I mean how pathetic can you be for:
a. thinking andy rooney's a depository of knowledge and intelligent opinion, and
b. posting **** on line getting your panties in a bunch without even bothering to check if its real.

You sure showed them!

Is anyone getting inundated and annoyed by obnoxious tools looking forward to cicada plague? Fortunately none of my friends (that aren't hidden) are, but my news feed shows they like or comment on posts from tools that can't wait till the soil temperature reached 64 degrees.

Is it any stupider than posting some supposedly feminist statement and attributing it to Marilyn Monroe?

And not to get sexist, but why don't men ever do **** like that? It always seems to be women doing it. It's mystifying.

I do get a ton of NBA playoff analyses.....

wtf. Even if your first thought was "****", which is shouldn't be if you're a well adjusted human, but publicly posting that you would **** her is probably not good either socially or legally.

Publicly posting on an open forum that you would **** a young woman is exactly what prospective employers or potential mates find as a quality that makes you in high demand. :brick:

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It doesn't make it any less moronic. In fact, it makes it its own special type of moronic. But I didn't think they were serious.

To a prospective employer or investor, it doesn't matter if your serious. Your just off the list.

I mocked someone who reposted that /r/forwardsfromgrandma nonsense about Einstein and the professor because seriously people. Seriously. Snopes. Don't share ****. You wouldn't share herpes.

To be fair, I'm pretty liberal with posting links to snopes because seriously people.

I'm sorry if I come across as a hater but it seems like there is a huge competition on Facebook right now as to who can wish their mother a happy Mother's Day in the most flowery, poetic, and sappy way possible. It seems like there are bonus points if an old scanned pic of mom is posted, and plus one life if that pic has young mom holding the well wisher as a baby.

I can mostly ignore it but there is one particular old witch (who I am related to unfortunately) who seems to be the winner so far - I wonder if her POS kids hired a hallmark card writer - but she is well known in her community as a two-faced liar, a hypocrite, and an alleged thief. Don't know whether to LOL or get angry...

Just be a grown up about the whole thing and post a nice comment. Something along the lines of "You only said that so that when she's dead you get be the one to throw her dentures and books into a fire"

Ahahaha we have a new winner. My cousin's husband posted this on her wall

"Happy Mother's Day weekend to my caring and domesticated wife"
