WTF? Where on earth do you work?
I have a fantastic gig at one of the most successful companies on the planet. I’m cool with the weirdness.

He's a ride operator at DisneylandBeing a greeter at Walmart is pretty low stress, but isn't calling it "fantastic" a bit of a stretch?

Would you say you're objectively very successful?I have a fantastic gig at one of the most successful companies on the planet. I’m cool with the weirdness.
Would you say you're objectively very successful?
Oh, sorry. That was a callback to some sf-drama meant to poke fun at myself. Is there some universally agreed upon objective measure of success?
On average I feel like I'm succeeding at being a good person, the most important thing to me.
Professionally, there are days when I feel very successful (today was a good day). Other days I feel like a fraud. Sometimes I have FOMO when I look at people I know who do things that I think are more important and/or exciting than what I do.
Within the framework of the corporation where I work, I'm the senior-most member of an elite team, I've risen almost as high as an individual contributor can go, and replacing me would be extremely challenging. I have job security and the knowledge that my efforts contribute significantly to the success of the company, in a highly visible and respected business unit, at a rapidly growing and hugely respected company.
What about you?
