Yeah very nice, darker gold museum calf+suede if I see well from the photo.Derby boots can be dressy.
Oh just beautiful Vass shoes today, yours are really lovely. By the toe burnishing (if it was done inhouse at Vass) I would say they were made before 08.2017.
Thank you. These are more than 2 years old and at that time Vass never used to do burnishing in-house. This was burnished by a specialist in NYC.Oh just beautiful Vass shoes today, yours are really lovely. By the toe burnishing (if it was done inhouse at Vass) I would say they were made before 08.2017.
I also plan to burnish my own Budapesters tomorrow at my workshop, can’t wait to see results.
View attachment 964191 Hi Guys,
Hope all is well! Any thoughts on home repairs for this pair of Vass boots with a Vibram sole that is starting next to come loose?
Is there a special glue and / or special nails I can use?
Thanks in advance!
Yes I am absolutely milking the last of boot season, without apology.
Question about the sole on those Vass - is it not supposed to be stitched down?
No of course not how can you stitch down through Vibram lug sole, they stitch it through leather midsole that’s it.
At Vass they don’t stitch it through Dainite as well, it is stitched through leather midsole and then Dainite or Vibram glued upon.
