Would someone be kind enough to tell me the name of that dry cleaner that accepts mail orders and is supposed to be one of the best? I tried searching, but no luck. Thanks.

Canali Overcoat.

Wool, Angora, and Cashgora (Didn't even know that existed).

Anyone know the age or the hierarchy of the "Proposta" line for Canali?

Sorry for the grainy pictures.

I've heard many here say there is no difference between main line and proposta in terms of quality. But having handled a good bit of main line Canali and a few Proposta items I think the main line is of better quality. With that said Proposta is still a good pick up at thrift prices.

Dat thrift synergy!! I just thrifted the same exact coat and it was in my last post! It's pretty nice but nothing to write home about. I'm not sure of the age, but it is my understanding that the "proposta" line is a lower end line but is still decent quality. This coat is made in Italy, but I have seen some their other pieces (like pants) that I think were made in other places besides Italy and didn't seems as quality to me. Somebody else please jump in if you have more info. I got it for really cheap (I hope you did too) and should do ok on that site. Although it is my size, so worst case scenario I might wear it (the last thing I need is another coat though!!)

Edit: SCoNE, I didn't even know "cashgora" existed either!! LOL

Why's that? Too common where you are?

You guys ever feel like you have those "bad luck brands"? Like, you can't move them, they never fit you, and they usually have problems when you find them. For me that's Canali, Burberry, and Hickey Freeman. I almost never pick any of them up on principle.

And if proposta isn't higher end someone here lied to me once.

HAHA. Well, if I have an issue with those it's because I pick antiquated orphans...
