It was a tight squeeze but I managed to get a proper reef knot in both. I took a few steps just to be able to say that I have now worn Aldens before ripping them from my howling pups! I have started a thread about the Beretta. I hope the consensus is that it can be made to fit me as I am growing more attached to it by the hour. I may just sleep in it tonight! Should this sport coat be altered?

The boots have been positively identified as C&J. They show a size 9 but they fit me quite comfortably and will likely remain in my possession unless someone offers approximately enough money to satisfy the mortgage on my home. Thanks for the responses.

Is there any reason that it needs to be a secret until you (hypothetically) present it to him? Why not just ask him if he'd like a quality jacket you found?

If you're worried that sounds weird, just say "No ****" afterward.

If you have a good rappore with the guy try gdwy89's approach ^. He'll either say yes or no, that simple. No need to overthink the idea. If it were me, I would just bring it into conversation with him, 'by the way, I have a jacket that would probably fit you. it's clean too..interested? no charge. I would like it to go to a good home.' that's it. If he's interested or not, he will let you know. I see nothing wrong with the idea of offering it to someone you work with. Hell college boys swap each others stuff all the time and never give it a thought.

Saw this Hugo Boss yesterday, cool fabric but it was ventless and the lapels looked 80's so I passed. But it's for, ahem, "larger" men so I can never tell how the lapels would actually look on whoever it was meant for. To go back and buy?

It was either a 44 or 46, L I think. Also found the design on this one pretty cool too.

Too bad none of this crap EVER fits me... someone find nice staple sportcoats in any color, loud patterns or anything for me. 36R or 36S. Thanks!
