I've been super busy lately but also been thrifting a lot off. Have found a ton of cool stuff I will post about when I get photos done (NWOT Tellason John Graham Mellor, Current Isaia and Stefano Ricci shirts, Kiton, etc), but here's one super cool piece.I believe I found a Brioni custom made tuxedo jacket belonging to John Williams, the film score composer. It is blue with black satin lapels. Absolutely killed me as I couldn't find the pants anywhere, but found a crazy nice pair of black tuxedo pants that were likely a part of another tux he had donated and I stupidly did not buy.
What do you guys think?

Also, if you don't know who John Williams is, see here. I'm a big classical music fan so when I saw the name printed on the tag, I thought to myself "Oh God... I wonder if this belonged to THE John Williams..."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Williams

Photos are terrible, jacket looks black in the first but is actually blue.

WTF! I live like 50 minutes away from where they make them and I don't find **** and you live like what? 1,000 miles away???!!!

Today's haul.

Turn the store upside down looking for the pants, but based on the tag color this had been there 2 weeks.

Thrift store unicorns: Zanella flat front

AE Delrays, Ferragamo Lavorazione Originale

2 Pair of Shells, kinda rough no idea on the maker. Both soles are stamped "Royal Oak" but I could find anything on them. Is that just a sole brand?

700

John Varvatos and Bruno Magli

Isaia - needs treatment around collar

Zegna - made in Italy

Today's haul.
[/SPOILER]

Great haul. Zegna is nice.
Royal oak is probably resole. Take a pic of the sidewall inside the shoe, where the writing is.
If Alden (which is what my money is on) and 10.5d, DIBS

I need to start browsing the Jean section more - nice score!

Anything else to lookout for in this section besides the obvious selvage?

Pretty great day. First off, hardly worn super recent Cheaney double monks in my size. Consignment prices but still outrageously cheap considering the shape these are in. Brown dress shoes search: over.

I believe you are correct sir. Thought they looked an awful lot like the black #6845s I picked up last month. These are #684. Part of the model was covered by the piece of leather that's put inside around the heel. And no, not different sizes. Just an optical illusion I call ****** picture taking.

edit: This is just the full straps. The tassel loafers have not visible markings.
