Zegna, Nataku, right? The FINE WORSTED label is all Zegna, all the time, about 1985-95 right?

Found my first zanella unicorn, as well as a pair of thick aquascutum trousers. Jury duty today and again tomorrow :/

In an Albuquerque thrift (the one I found the Borrelli, Loro Piana and Prada shirts at), found a Borrelli suit jacket...no pants :fu:

Hello hello ya'll.

Wanting to stray true to the OG's of this thread - the following is all up for grabs at cost + shipping -
But i'd much rather trade - I'm looking for a nice 36-38 tweed and other usual desiderata. PM me.
Sorry for the ****** photography whirlwind week i'm having.

42R Hickey Freeman Gun Check Blazer (would love to trade for a tweed or a similar guncheck in 36/38)

:bigstar: deets later... suffice it to say I win the thread. (discount store not thrift)

so who currently holds the epic find title? I wonder if the MINT Loro Piana 3/4 length cashmere lined deerskin coat i found for $20 and sold for $3k is still up on the list. i havent been on here much lately and i aint reading over a thousand pages to get caught up LOL

I think you may still hold the title for a single item. Acosbysweater's croc Gucci loafers came close a few months ago.

Bit of psychology for you: Sell the one you thrifted on eBay and look at it as profit made. At the end of the day you were always going to get your fair lady a nice gift, and nice gifts by and large cost money :nodding:

Very true.

I think the NIB Lobbs from like 10,000 pages ago are still the best.

you guys know what this means, right? it's the first annual
THRIFT FIND OF THE YEAR CONTEST 2012 EDITION.

pm me if you want to be on the selection committee (spoo and DM7, i'm looking right at you).

once we hammer out the criteria and logistics, we'll open it up for submissions. winner will be announced on Dec. 31, 2012.

Anyone in the NYC make it down to the 121212 Concert at Madison Square Garden???? The whole couple rows are very well-dressed entrepeneur looking men and I thought someone here may fit that criteria. Billy Joel, NIRVANA!, Bruce Springstein and the E street band, Pink Floydd, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, The Who, and Paul McCartney oh and just throw in Bon Jovi. I promise this won't ever happen again. I wish I could be there right now...

Do I win a pair of Gucci croc loafers that actually fit me?

But seriously, Rookie of the Year definitely goes to DM7. A whole nother level of YOLO.

I don't think I was a member yet, but that was pretty bonkers.
