For those who are wondering, here is the left hand pair. Perfectly acceptable.
The leather is corrected grain - it should be consistent in weight and texture - this is a production issue, why it happened can't say for sure, probably in the bonding process, it's garbage though - especially when you consider the full retail price. The wrinkling isn't just a visual issue - the leather sits against your foot, this tongue is like a piece of bark.

Sawtooth Lacing

Tutorial for Sawtooth Lacing, in which the underlying shoelace sections pull at a steep angle, shifting the alignment of the sides.

Never had issue with tightness with this. And it keeps the clean straight lace pattern on top.

Hi guys

Bought a pair of Court Lows, which is my first ever CP deviation from Achilles Low. Basically bought because they were in an incredible January 2020 discount!

I've just received them and can't work out why the sole is so chunky, resembling that of the CP Women lines (with their chunky soles).

They actually look good on, but wondered if they're women's, or intentionally chunky-soled?

I've included a side by side photo of one next to my Achilles Low Retro.

I've had a pair before but no longer have them for comparison.
only red flag i see are the numbers,they seem to far away from the heel tab,all the examples im seeing the 1 in 1528 is aligned with the heel tab these arent.should i worry?

On genuine pairs that I’ve seen, the C in “Achilles” looks tiny bit thicker and rounder and the I is thicker.

Does anyone have a genuine pair with matching font as above?

And the font on my box resembles the font on the left, which is why I’m asking.

All of the recent genuine pairs have font identical to the one on the right.

Just found the above video and the text is exactly the same as in mine and in the “fake” box in my last post.

The above is a box of a genuine pair, you can see what I mean about the different lettering. It is subtle but obvious when looking closely.

It’s crazy how good the fakes are. Starting to be convinced that I’ve been duped.
