Hi, I was wondering how much a1923 goes for if you preorder... trying to avoid paying full price if possible and don't mind waiting for a bit.

Passed on a pair of black A1923 double zips on eBay that sold for about 1k in 42. So I know better if this ever happens again would they fit a 42.5 like me with wide feet or would I need a 43?

Super rare pair of CCP workboots on their way to me. I think it's a one off pair that hasn't ever been produced before.
Non dipped and with NO titanium ankle inserts.
For me the perfect boot (fingers crossed they fit

). It brings together all the elements I love about the dipped sneaker but in a sturdy boot form with none of the sole wear/dipped issues (And more importantly no titanium inserts)
Bison leather, heavy as hell, delicious.
I know they aren't everybody's thing but they rock my boat.
Will be in my hands next week......I'll post more pics then. For now, some teaser shots.

Whoa, those look incredible. It's a boot sole on there then, yeah? Awesome find

It's a standard boot sole with a combat sole on top. The combat sole can be removed just to leave a standard boot finish.
Normal options for this boot are dipped or not dipped. But ALL Have the titanium ankle insert. This is where this pair is so so so rare and unique....not having the titanium insert

Interesting

Is it BIUS?

What do you dislike so much about the titanium insets

Yes bison.
The titanium hate thing is personal.
1) I'm feel I'm too old to be walking around with metal bits sticking out of my footwear.
2) IMO the titanium takes things too far. As in its too 'out there' for me.
But it's just a personal thing.

Eton: I must say I totally agree with you on the titanium issue - therefore my pulse starts pounding just by looking at those pics. And I've always loved the added combat sole. Perfection.

Not really.
Not having titanium inserts isn't an 'option'.
The workboot was never released without titanium ankle inserts. So asking for a special order without titanium I suppose would be like asking for a dipped sneaker without dips. Which is obviously a no go.
This was a one off unbelievably in my size that was spotted sitting in their workshop undyed. It was reserved for me.
I may be wrong regarding the special order, but I'm sure I'm right.
The whole story may be bollocks, but that's how it was told to me.
Still......I've never seen a pair anywhere. Even the standard titanium version is pretty rare.
