I'm stuck on the King this week.

Nice looking boots. What kind of sole did you put on there? I am thinking of putting commando, medway or ridgeway on my #8's and 1k's. Do you have any pics of the sole? I can't tell if they added another layer of leather to attach the commando to or not.

They look sturdy!

Just wanted to share these black shell wingtip boots. Shell is remarkable, with some brushing it looks as good as new but these have been worn extensively. Non-alden commando with some fresh laces.

Sale on Aldens at TSM?!?

What do you guys think about the Alden Roy Boots? Not sure if I want to drop $585 and wait over 6 months on them.

I have the black crepe and suede waterlock Roys and they are both very comfortable. I love the snuff suede waterlock sole Roy's. They are perfect for a more casual look. The waterlock soles break in really fast and I much prefer them to the crepe soles on my other Roys.
