These are great, Mac - exactly the Ravello I am looking for for my own collection.

I am speaking to Shoemart about the Ravello Indy as I write this...conflicting stories about availability....one person says not in stock- another says 2 pairs of size 6 only- even though I can put a size 7 in my shopping cart and get to the checkout......style number says they are irregulars but the price- $750- says they are not...

Spoke to yet a third person who says neither clean model no irregular are in stock and I should disregard my shopping cart...

Sounds like they have some inventory control/data issues...

Too bad - I was about to pull the trigger on my first pair of Aldens in over a year....

I viewed all the Alden stock then selected 96 per page and then sorted by price: low to high
I was able to pickup the snuff suede PTBs on single flex sole on Barrie last night.....

You sure they are on the Barrie? I ordered a pair of the Rust Suede PTBs last night and here's what they look like, they are on the Leydon last (according to their catalog):

Yeah me too, but then when I went back and looked at the actual shoemart catalogue they had the exact same style number as that site you posted, but they are on the Leydon

I sure hope it is in fact Leydon and not barrie, otherwise they are goin right back on the truck

Good point zazaza and cloudshift, the welts are different between the LWB and the captoe boot, as you say. However if I recall correctly, the new boot looks narrower than the boot I returned; and compared to the LWB, the boot's relative narrowness seems more pronounced in the waist of the shoe. I'm still wondering if it's possible that they're on a different last than the Barrie.
