cigar cap toe boot
argyles otc

amazing, sir. and I thought my color 8 cap toes were nice :embar:
Like those cigar boots, maybe I'll go for something like that since I can't get the wp pebble grain captoe boots who knows.

So a good friend of mine and his girlfriend went into the bev hills leather soul (sup Tom) and he like me had a bad experience while trying to buy some shoes. This guy is one of the nicest guys and best friends I've had in my life so when he told me this story I was in disbelief. He said he went in there, didn't get acknowledged by the salesperson for the first 5 minutes and looked around at some shoes. Apparently the gentleman was on the computer the entire time and his girlfriend even commented how bizarre it was he was not trying to assist him and even looked bothered when my friend asked him a couple questions. Apparently he brushed him off with terse replies when asked if he had a certain style or if he could even try something on for size. He said he didn't seem knowledgable about the products when being asked questions either. He also noted all the shoes were quite dusty and was just entirely perplexed at the whole situation. They finally walked out and he purchased some shoes elsewhere (I believe he said online) saying he would not return after that experience.

I don't know what's going on but this was similar to my experience except I didn't ask to try anything on. He didn't seem remotely interested in selling any shoes.

i had a similar experience in Alden SF. Could I ask what your friend looked like and how he was dressed? Unfortunately, this may have played a roll

Jet, I don't know what's going on either, all I can say is I'm very sorry about this and I will pass this on to Bryan at LSBH.

Bryan is genuinely a great guy and has a tremendous heart. I know there should never be an excuse, but to his credit he moved to a foreign place with no friends or family and took a foreign job to help a friend (me) in need. He deals with various stresses and situations in life like all of us. He doesn't have any retail experience or experiences dealing with customers, especially Beverly Hills customers, but I know he is trying his best. I only very recently was able to hire a part timer, Joel, for Fridays only. Till then, Bryan was alone everyday running the shop. I hope Joel will be able to join us full time soon so that we can improve our service.

If you can understand, I thank you. If not, I totally understand.

I really hope this was not the reason because that is not acceptable.

Can't believe this could have been Bryan because he was awesome to me when I was visiting...remembered my last name and some of the shoes I had ordered, set me home with a piece of swag, gave me the run down on what else was on the strip, etc. Great service for me from Bryan.

Maybe the customer had low blood sugar and got impatient? It's been known to happen.

As I said on your site, I thought Bryan was great, at least over the phone and on e-mail. On the phone, though, he sounded really busy. I know having worked retail I've had some pretty off days too.

Bryan has been great to me from the first time I set foot into LSBH. He was friendly, helpful, and patiently answered all of my questions, and he took a lot of time to get me sized properly in the various Alden lasts back at my first visit there even though I didn't end up buying anything that day. It wasn't busy that day, but even when I've gone in on busy days, he's taken the time to acknowledge me immediately after seeing me in the store and coming over to help me as soon as he had a free moment.

Tom, you should train BH staff to recognize the baller sneakers.

Haaa, for what its worth, I have had a single interaction with Brian and that was over email. He was both prompt and professional throughout the experience. He even shipped my pair free since I was in California.
