Those look absolutely sublime @JTMD.

I don’t see why not @MrImpractical. Seems fairly standard to me. Easier to say with a bit more confidence with a pic of the shoes.

Ravello Roy boots. It’s actually way too hot for these boots, but rocking them anyway.

Alden #16, Alden Boot #15, Trubalance & Indy #14....Cigar Shell #1 Indy boots from Zahner's Clothing. They are finally with me after a shipping error (entirely on my part). These came out super and thanks to Zahner's for a beautiful pair !!
Took these pictures at night under lights but can't wait to take pictures in sunlight.

Do any of you have boot tongues that wander to the right or left? I've heard tale that a good cobbler can add a stitch on one side of the tongue to the facing, but I'm curious if anyone has had it done? Any chance of a pic? Thanks!
I have done this as well, on some non-shell Indy's. Works well, and it is not noticeable from outside the boot. Only caveat is that I have high insteps and it makes the boots much more difficult to put on.

Anyone have experience with the “leisure 3” rubber sole? Seems its being added to more models this season.
To be honest- not a fan. Zero support and feels more like house slippers than a goodyear welted shoe. Some will like it for those reasons but I got it on a pair of chukkas and at some point I'm resoling to something more comfortable for walks of any real distance.

I think if it’s used in place of the very lightweight soles on the LHS and unlined chukkas it feels very similar and is comfortable. Most people will probably not find it comfortable to walk distances in but that’s also the case for the stock soles on the aforementioned shoes.

I tried it on at AoSF and thought it was a nice, more water sound and possibly longer lasting alternative to the single flex soles, but I wouldn’t find it a deal breaker in either direction.

Hi all,
First Alden purchase for me and I'd like to know if the finish on these shoes is normal. Of course, I don't expect these to have an impact on their longevity.
