A really productive Saturday so far. Got my run in, yard work, and out running errands. First stop is my favorite coffee shop in my old neighborhood. Really hard to discreetly take shoe pic’s but here goes. TSM Cigar Tankers…….

Even got a compliment on them. And the best part, it came from the opposite sex:) (always my target audience).

Happy Saturday gang.

Looking good, of course, and congratulations on the compliment!!!

Indys in their intended environment: Climbing desert peaks in the Middle East near ancient inscriptions and ruins.

Scaled boulders with the original neoprene soles with admirable grip.

The red desert dust came off with moderate brushing and a dab of water in the welts.

It seams that Dr Jones is doing some archaeological work. Nice pic, regards.

Gentlemen, does this Alden boot from Nordstrom appear to be on the Barrie last? The description reads "true to size".

Nordstrom link

Not my normal consideration but I'm shopping for a black suede or chamois boot for a friend who is typically a size 9.

Hey gang, I just pulled these boots out, and having not worn them in a while, I forgot what last they are on.

They're an H. Stockton collab, and I think they were called the jumper or paratrooper boot or something like that. I could have sworn that they were on the Grant last, but I just looked up the style number (D3903C), and the Model Project says it could be Hampton or Barrie.

Does anyone recall this makeup?

Look like grant or Hampton to me but the best way is to ask Alden.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
