Funny that we are talking about similar boots here as I need help all. Trying to decide if I should let one of these pairs go. Probably thinking either the Carmina’s or the ravello caps as I just got the whiskey PCTs and have some other ravello in my collection. Natty vibergs are the most casual pair of them all and I wouldn’t get rid of them. Any thoughts?

My wife and her friends have seen my shoes and boots and said. “Why would you need so many of the same brown boot.....”. :brick:
My wife and her friends don't even add a color qualifier, just "why do you need so many shoes and boots....." I always respond with a question, "How many purses do you have...." That seems to end the conversation.

I feel like my answer to this question is going to skew the objectivity of your answer.....

Not in my case, LOL! That's a half-size short and a letter too narrow for me.

I'd sell of the ones you wear the least, or that don't fit as well as you'd like - they're all great, and I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding a good home for any of them.

Can anyone recommend a floor cleaning product for hardwood floors? ALL of my commando sole Aldens as well as Dainite sole C&J & Vibergs squeak horribly with what we are using now.

We’re talking wake the baby up walking down the hall squeaky. People look at you funny squeaky.

Since we are tackling noise issues... anyone have tips for silencing shell cordovan? I’ve heard baby powder at one point near the tongue (which made a mess, causes cancer, and didn’t work). I heard it would go away after break in but have cordovan boots that are years old and still do it when walking in a quiet room.

I have heard paraffin works, but I have no personal experience with it.

Vaseline has worked great for me...(on the shoes, not the floor).

We use the Bona product, and in between that have a Bissell Cross wave floor cleaner (because the dogs drag in who knows what) I clean the hardwood, and we have no carpeted rooms, only area rugs, two to four times a week.
