Live jazz, family, friends, and Aldens just ahead of a blustery night in the Burg. I've done some custom work on these AOC-22's, converted the antique edge to brown, had the midsole removed and replaced with single leather. Works better for the way I wear boots......

Pooch just had surgery and is hopefully in the last days of wearing the cone.

Boots look great! Hope dog is doing great and can get rid of cone soon. Cone's get messy.

Nice. Your rain shot reminds me: is waterproof treatment (like nano spray) recommended for earth Chamois? The smooth stuff not the reverse.

That leather is so stuffed/oiled I wouldn't use anything. I've got the Leffot smooth chamois longwings and have worn them in absolute downpours with no issues at all. Nick Horween suggested a tiny bit of neatsfoot when they need reconditioning (and he stressed tiny)

Update on the Estate sale with green boxes that I posted earlier in the week. Simple update- we didn't go, winter storm "whatever this one is named" prevented us from going (ice from the sky!!). Maybe next time. I'm not even sure they held it due to the weather.

The IG feed from someone in Asia was the only way I found out about them. Sooooo beautiful. No offense to the Leffot boot owners, but I much prefer these.

Agreed and unsurprisingly he hates it. He's a good dude but we can't seem to convince him to stop licking the wounds. Hopefully soon.

Thanks and absolutely agree James. Alden wingtips, of any shade/material are the gold standard.
