Finally landed one of my all-time favorites but wanted your opinion on the slightly askew left cap toe. Issue or not? Initial reaction is that it bugs me.

Hmmm. I've had a couple pairs with crocked caps. I can say it did bother the s... out of me. I did just get in a pair of plaza cap toes that have slightly askew cap similar to yours. I'm thinking it's acceptable but I still mulling it over. Unlike many other flaws that get hidden by rolls etc. that crocked cap will never go away. It's a tough call when it's a grail, I'd lean toward keeping them. On the other hand that is a grail that's pretty obtainable.

If it's any consolation, there's no way that anyone but you would notice. Especially after you get a few creases behind the cap which likely won't be perfectly straight.

I love the dark piping on the tongue of the Regina Grain LHS and yes a thin layer of oil soaked leather on the soles. Should take a beating.. perfect!

Grain for rain. 110 here today.
I'm glad others on this forum think "rainloafers" are a thing.

Happy Friday everyone! Question - have any of you ever grown "tired" of a particular pair of shoes? You know - they fit well, the look ok, but there's just something about them after, say two or three years of regular wear that has caused them to fall out of favor (and into a donation bin)?
No, but I'll take 'em! I'm PM'ing my address to you now...
